About this bottle

McKenzie Pure Pot Still Whiskey is an American interpretation of the traditional Irish single pot still style. It is produced using locally sourced malted and un-malted barley and aged in the distillery's own used bourbon and rye barrels. Bottled at 90 proof, this whiskey undergoes a double distillation process, unlike the triple distillation common in Irish malts, to preserve more flavor.

Darin Heredia 1.0

Not to my preference... abundant corn and an excessive roasted character towards the end.

Sallie Harley 3.8

A decent "Irish whiskey" with a pleasant, mild flavor. Easy to drink with supper.

Markus Kwon 3.5

Very mild.
