Nose: caramel, oak barrel, malt. After a small amount, the nose is dominated by oak. Body: medium Palate: sweet oak, cinnamon, with a hint of vanilla on the back palate. Finish: pleasant, medium duration. Note: This will be challenging. I have about half an ounce to sample from a friend's selection after their tasting. Let's see how it goes. What I could discern from that half ounce was good.

Aroma - nutty, dry cocoa powder, dark fruits, a slight hint of honey Taste - The aroma carries over to the palate. Plenty of nutty flavors with dark fruits and caramel. A really nice balance. There are some baking spices on the finish, adding more complexity. Overall - Solid, but not particularly exciting.
