Mataroa

An incredibly smooth gin! I enjoy the botanical flavors; mastic is a particular favorite. We drank nearly the entire bottle chilled, neat. I wish it offered more complexity, being too delicate, but that's a minor point.

The aroma is dominated by mastic. On the palate, coriander and mastic are most noticeable. It has a light body and finish, with limited complexity. Still, it's smooth enough for sipping neat or with a single ice cube. A commendable attempt from my fellow countrymen. Cheers!

It's sweet and mellow, just wish the finish lasted longer.
