About this bottle
Dorit and David Nahmias initiated rye production at their upstate distillery following their initial release of Mahia, a fig brandy inspired by David's family's homemade Moroccan version. The Legs Diamond Whiskey is named in honor of a cunning and showy Prohibition-era bootlegger known for his exceptional dancing, hence the "legs." The rye used for this whiskey is cultivated on locally sustainable farms. It's important to note that a white (unaged) version of this whiskey also exists under the same name; this is the aged variety.
