The very dark, almost brown color suggests added flavors. The aromas are pleasant and surprisingly not overly sweet, with notes of sugarcane, grape juice, honey, fig, and blueberry. However, there are no significant woody aromas. On the palate, the rum's flavors are complemented by fruit sugars and the common corn syrup found in mass-market liqueurs. It lacks complexity and any woody undertones or a more pronounced aftertaste. There are notes of cocoa and some cooked flavors, with a finish of dark fruits, raw brown honey, and well-balanced sugarcane. The texture is pleasingly viscous. It remains a good, accessible product for newcomers, not too sweet, and perfect with ice on a sunny day.

This very delicate elixir rum has a distinct sweet taste with strong fruity-chocolate-cardamom sweetness and almost no alcohol burn. It's not for traditional rum sippers but rather a sweet, candy-like rum suitable for sharing with ladies, perhaps as a palate breaker. It serves well as a digestive or a very sweet sipper, though it's not very versatile as a mixer. Highly recommended for ladies.
A very sweet rum with no noticeable burn. I thoroughly enjoy sipping this rum on the rocks with a cigar. It's perhaps not the ideal choice for a seasoned rum enthusiast, but rather for a novice like myself. A good rum to share with individuals who don't frequently consume rum. Naturally, it's not a full-bodied rum. But damn, it is good. Perfect for when everything just needs to be a bit light and relaxed. Sweet, without being overly so. I must admit, I love sweet rum, and this is sweeter than 'genuine' rums.
As indicated on the label, it is indeed an elixir. The taste is potent and sweet. I suggest adding a single ice cube and a small orange peel, lightly charred with a lighter. This will significantly heighten your senses.
The second sweetest rum I've encountered, with a strong artificial vanilla essence. It's not enjoyable, I have no interest in trying it again, and cannot recommend it. It is barely palatable.
