An interesting bourbon. From the initial aroma, I'm unsure how to describe it other than not particularly appealing. The taste is also a bit unusual; again, I'm not sure how to put it into words. It lingers on your tongue for a moment before mellowing into a much more pleasant aftertaste. It's not one I'll likely try again.

I purchased this at the distillery in Pleasant View. My father, a former SF employee, found this nearby in Clarksville and really enjoys it. It has a good flavor, is smooth, and not overly spicy. The distillery itself is also worth a visit.
The aroma has notes of molasses and honey, with a hint of plastic. The taste presents upfront white pepper, a buttery body, and a slightly dry mouthfeel. Young tannins are present.
