Very deep in hue, a dark amber seems appropriate. The initial smell is intricate. After some warming, a powerful scent of tobacco, custard, vanilla, leather, and dried fruit emerges. The taste is complex; it's hot at first but mellows, revealing cinnamon and a return of dried fruit, with a very slow finish of tobacco. All in all, quite pleasing with layered depth. Would be an excellent pairing with a cigar.
