About this bottle
Ian Hunter was the final member of the founding Johnston family to oversee Laphroaig. His relatives, Donald and Alexander Johnston, established Laphroaig in 1815. This second bottling in a planned five-part series has been aged for 30 years, mirroring the first release from the previous year. However, Book 2's maturation occurred in European oak ex-oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 48.2% ABV and is not chill-filtered.
