The aroma presents candy corn, rice pudding, cellophane-wrapped caramel squares, and a hint of cardamom. Upon tasting, it's soft, predominantly a grain spirit, with a slight tartness and fleeting sharpness that isn't unpleasant. The finish is ethereal, leaving a faint tingle on the tongue. For the price and proof, it's difficult to fault. Despite being labeled un-chill-filtered, it lacks the characteristic Scotch mist. Adding water diminishes the pleasant qualities and drowns the nose.
