Lorenzo Braun 1.8

Nose: Brown sugar, young ethanol, sugary decorations, powdered sugar. Palate: Quite thin, artificially sweet, with cereal grain syrup and a generic pastry glaze. Finish: A Splenda-like artificial sweetness, short in duration. Score: 61/100. Final Thoughts: This presents as young in both aroma and taste. It feels like a significant portion of light whisky is in this blend, contributing a very clean, generic sweetness. It doesn't seem to have much grain or malt character, and surprisingly, it doesn't capture the typical apple or pear notes I often find in single malts. Would I drink it if offered? Perhaps. Would I specifically order it? No. Would I buy a bottle? No. NOTE: All evaluations are made without considering the price.
