It's just okay, clearly not aged long enough. Light flavor, a bit fruity initially. Not terrible for the price, but you can tell it's a budget whiskey ($12 for 750ml).

Korbel California Brandy originates from Sonoma County and is made by Korbel California Champagne Cellars. The base wine is distilled, then the spirit matures for two years in American charred oak. It is then blended using the Solera method. The alcohol content is 80 proof.

Nose: Very sweet on the nose with hints of wild berry, apple juice, and cherries. Taste: Sweet and smooth on the palate. Hints of coconut, crisp apples, and pears. Finish: Spicy, sweet, and oaky.
Appearance: Clear, chestnut color with consistent alcohol legs. Aroma: Spicy butterscotch & charred oak; similar flavor with some very clean water. Body: Medium. Finish: Medium long. (Initialed by reviewer).
Sweet, smooth with a little heat. I really like this brandy on a chilly evening; it warms me up.
Clean nose with a bit of wood. Low complexity but nothing unpleasant. Smooth palate, slightly sweet with some wood notes.
Initial sweetness followed by oak and maple. Some vanilla is present throughout.
