KōHana Kea

An amazing nose offering pineapple, sugarcane, and a faint alcohol aroma. The initial sip is fruity, but the alcohol quickly dominates, leading to a hotter finish than expected from the nose and sip. It's worth trying due to its distinctly "Hawaiian" agricole character and uniqueness, but it's a bit unrefined as a sipping rum, especially considering the price. It shines in daiquiris, where the nose's potential is realized without the harshness.

I wanted to enjoy this. The smell is completely off-putting to me. Even mixed, I didn't like it. My apologies.
