The aroma is quite mild for being 120 proof. Notes of peanut brittle and a hint of flowers. It doesn't seem too oily in the glass. The alcohol content is noticeable on the tongue. Nutty, but with a peppery heat. The flavor registers at the start and middle of the palate. There's a slight taste of paint thinner. Adding water or ice improves it.
