Hope Stanford 4.0

The nose immediately hits with a surge of heat, melding charred oak, baking spices, and leather. It's quite potent but eventually softens. Hints of dark chocolate emerge alongside a touch of earthiness. The palate is dry and intensely hot, igniting the mouth with pronounced spices, charred oak, and leather. Smoother notes of dark chocolate, a bit of vanilla, and cooked brown sugar do appear, but this is quite an impactful experience. It's all about spice and heat, almost like a novelty but quite pleasing for what it is. It's definitely rare to find something so high proof. The finish is medium and spicy, with a lingering heat that yields to more dark chocolate. Enjoyable to drink, but not something to linger with all evening, as it can become overwhelming after a while.
