Kilbrin 10 Year Single Malt

I find this acceptable. It's neither special nor bad. It tastes like a mix between a standard Irish whiskey and Scotch, offering triple-distilled smoothness with a faint smoky note. I'd gladly drink it if given as a gift, as this was, but likely wouldn't seek it out to buy.

Triple-distilled Irish single pot still whiskey aged for 10 years in former bourbon casks. A substantial, luscious mouthfeel of soft, airy marshmallow and crisp wafers, with pastry and honey on the nose, and a lingering minty, chocolate finish. Silky smooth.

Light in body. Easy to drink. A slight bite. Low fruit. Low smoke. Low oak. Medium malt.

A really good whiskey. It pairs wonderfully with a cigar.

Exceptionally smooth.
