Garry Miguel 4.3

I was incredibly pleased with this bourbon's quality, especially considering its price. It's smooth, not overpowering on the aroma, and the taste is more delicate, ending with a gentle sweetness. Details shared by the shopkeeper... Kelsey Creek is a Sazerac product originating from the Buffalo Trace distillery. It was initially slated for bottling as Eagle Rare but a manufacturing issue resulted in a slightly sweeter profile on the finish, making it unsuitable for that label. The decision was made to keep the flawed batch and release it as a special edition under the Kelsey Creek brand. Its appeal grew with customers, leading to the decision to replicate the production mistake and maintain the flavor. A fascinating tale, regardless of its accuracy.

When I first opened it, I didn't enjoy it for some reason. I tried it again about 4-6 months later, and it was really good. I must have been having an off palate day initially, or perhaps it's a bourbon that needs time to open up.

Sheena Shearer 3.5

Quite subtle on the nose and the initial taste. Just not much flavor, which is understandable given the lower alcohol content. Some pleasant spice towards the end. Not excessively sweet and fairly smooth.

Antonia Pascual 3.5

The aroma and initial taste are quite subdued. Lacks significant flavor, though that might be due to its lower alcohol content. A pleasant warmth emerges toward the finish. Not overly sugary and reasonably easy to drink.

Carly Ames 3.8

It was surprisingly smooth and gets better the longer it sits on ice. I'm definitely adding it to my regular rotation for daily sipping!!

Tyree Nixon 3.5

Reasonably smooth. A strong spicy note appears at the end. I'll be adding this to my regular rotation for sipping.
