Keeper's Heart Irish + American Whiskey 110 Proof

Nose: Mildly floral/fruity, leather, a wooden workbench with wet paint. Palate: Light, delicately sweet vanilla cream, rye spice (less intense than the 86 proof, surprisingly), cloves. Finish: Pleasant oak and rye spice. This drinks much weaker than its 110 proof suggests. Intriguing, but not overly complicated. I significantly prefer it to the 86 proof version. It might improve with some aging. I got it at a good price.

Reminds me of "peppered bacon and pancakes" as my relative puts it. He's not wrong. Quite delicious! This is the single barrel edition finished in Madeira barrels, specifically bottled for The Stanley Hotel.

It's amber-colored with a scent of vanilla and damp cardboard. The flavor is dominated by oak tannins and vanilla. It has a spicy yet smooth character.

A good full proof offering. It has spice on the palate, a pleasant finish, and is quite smooth considering the 55% ABV.

A solid Irish whiskey. I prefer it slightly over Jameson. Thanks to a friend.
