Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish is the second release in the Concertmaster series, following the Port Cask Finish bottling. Similar to the previous release, this single malt initially ages in refill American oak casks before undergoing a finishing period in sherry casks. Its initial availability was in Taiwanese bars and retailers beginning September 2019, with a global rollout anticipated.

Too weak in every regard. On the nose, Sherry is briefly perceptible, then vanishes. On the palate, the same – unable to deliver bold flavors or any intensity. Bitter throughout.
Nose: Floral, a little spice, and green grapes Palate: Green apple, green grapes, ginger, with very little oak Finish: Similar to the palate, but without the ginger
Peppery, with a licorice sweetness and an astringent, mineral finish.
Berry and cocoa notes, with a mineral finish.
Contains fruit, specifically apple, with a delicate body.
A noticeable kick of spice and pepper.
