A smooth, Irish Single Malt Vodka from Patrick Shelley and West Cork Distillery in Ireland. It's produced from barley that is not peated, but the spirit is aged in new American oak barrels that were torched with burning peat prior to being distilled four times in copper pot stills. It has a mild beginning with suggestions of Single Malt florals, honey, and a sea spray; while a creamy middle offers notes of brine, char, and gingerbread; culminating in a gentle yet smoky finish with a touch of clove and sugar. About this bottle
This vodka begins with the brand's original Kalak Vodka, which is crafted from malted barley. West Cork peat is incorporated, and virgin American oak barrels are charred over a peat fire. The spirit then undergoes a four-month aging period.

Peat! Nothing unusual... a delightful, pure smoky flavor.
