John Watling's Buena Vista Rum

Acquired this at Senor Frog’s in Nassau. Aged for five years, which is young for a Caribbean rum, in bourbon casks. The color is very bourbon-like and there are clear bourbon characteristics, followed by rum sweetness. This will suffice as a sipper, but would be better utilized as a mixer.

A dependable whiskey to keep on hand. Smooth hints of nuttiness.

Strong aroma, but a more mellow flavor. Delicious.

Peppery, dark sugar.
