Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse Select

The aroma is dominated by ethanol, with a touch of oak and the faintest hint of vanilla if one searches diligently. The taste is far more agreeable than the nose suggests, featuring a flood of oak and a hint of vanilla. The finish is where this pour truly excels, offering a medium length with brown sugar, honey, and vanilla still lingering subtly. A great drink with a classic bourbon profile. My score- 3 Scale 1-choke it down or pour it down the sink 2-drinkable but would not buy again 3-solid would buy again 4-seek it want it need it in my cabinet 5- life changing might name a kid after it

Mediocre. Worth the novelty for a small bottle, but many superior options exist for less cost. Nose: Sweet with oak and hints of butterscotch. A faint smell of fusel alcohol at the end. Palate: Begins with light honey, butterscotch, and an almost citrus fruit note. Quickly transitions to a strong, simple cinnamon burn. Finish: Lacks smoothness compared to the aroma, and the finish is somewhat brief and dry. Leaves a burning sensation in the mouth without any other lingering tastes.

The initial aroma is quite spicy, but with aeration, notes of brown sugar, oak, butterscotch, hazelnut, and maple emerge in good harmony. The palate is smooth and sweet, with cinnamon coating the mouth, balanced by vanilla and subtle caramel notes. The finish is short to medium, with cinnamon and a touch of pepper leaving the mouth tingling as the palate flavors diminish somewhat rapidly.

One of the worst bourbons I have ever had. The novelty of bottling it at the Stillhouse and sticking a little medallion on it doesn't make up for the fact it's just awful. Regular Jim Beam is better in every way.

A fun bottle to acquire in Louisville at the Urban Stillhouse. Bursting with flavor, sweetness, and a nice finish.

Tasted in Louisville, this spirit is hot and spicy but is a nice bourbon considering what it is.
