It smells sweet and toasty. I detect a bit of char too. After my initial taste, a touch of apple appears on the nose. The taste arrives but vanishes quickly. A mild cinnamon warmth stays behind. However, this isn't very memorable. I don't detect the sweetness I smelled, mostly smoke and black pepper. The taste is simply light and unremarkable. It might work well as a component in a mixed drink, though.
