J.J. Whitley is a sister spirits brand to Whitley Neill, a gin brand considered one of the first craft gins upon its market introduction in 2005. Both brands were established by Johnny Neill, with the J.J. Whitley brand honoring his great grandfather, John James Whitley. This gin collection draws inspiration from the English countryside of J.J.'s childhood. J.J. Whitley Violet Gin incorporates eight botanicals, including juniper, coriander, licorice, and angelica root, alongside violets, giving the gin a distinct purple color.
