The aromas remind me of mid-shelf bourbon from the '70s. Malt, medicinal, oak. Flavors are similar to the nose, mildly sweet and a bit thin. A little heat in the finish.
Strong taste of burnt oak, but otherwise the flavor is quite muted. It's acceptable.
Cooked sweet apples, cinnamon, scorched oak, honey, orange.
