Smells like paint thinner, and the taste is mostly turpentine. The finish is long and leaves me feeling sorry I tried it. I picked this up to back regional distillers making quality whiskey. However, I think I'll hold off on buying more for a bit - maybe they're aging some stock and it could be palatable by 2022.

Mildred Briseno 3.5

It wasn't the exact bottling I was looking for, but I couldn't find it. This 7-year, 94 proof version isn't terrible, and it was the least expensive bottle I own, mostly used for cocktails. It's light, unobtrusive, oaky, with sweetness only present at the initial taste.

J Carver Straight Bourbon Nose: Oak, cherry cola, light caramel Palate: light, vanilla, sweet cherry, wood Finish: brief, minimal finish, light herbal

Marilyn Han 4.0

This is a rather sweet bourbon, and if you're in Minnesota, it's hard to find a better whiskey for the price.

This is actually for the Brickyard bourbon, but it wasn't in the database. It has a soapy and thin character.

Gussie Manning 3.8

Suitable for making old fashioneds when the company isn't particularly discerning.
