A combination of carefully selected high-rye bourbon aged in barrels from various locations globally. 38% Bourbon finished in maple syrup barrels, 27% bourbon finished in Caribbean rum casks, 18% bourbon finished in sherry casks, and 17% bourbon finished in cognac casks.
A solid bourbon, but not very complex, particularly given its aging. I had higher hopes, but several bourbons at half the price are equally good or superior.
It's good and somewhat intriguing. Rich initially, with spice at the finish. I had it at a bar served in a poor glass, making the aroma difficult to assess, but overall, it's quite enjoyable.
Good, but not overly intricate. It possesses some sweetness from the rum and other barrel aging.
Many different flavors are present. Some burn, but it's not unpleasant. Excellent with ice.
