This is an orange-flavored Irish whiskey, triple distilled at Royal Oak Distillery using barley from Wexford County. The barley was milled, malted, and fermented for over 60 hours before aging in ex-bourbon barrels for 5 years. It has an aromatic start with hints of orange and whiskey, followed by a triple sec quality that leads to a rich, medium-length finish. This tasting took place in July 2025, thanks to a webinar and tasting event with a representative from Alexander Murray & Co. Scotch Whisky Merchants & Exporters in October/November 2025.
