I decided to try something new, and this caught my attention. Similar to the other Proper Twelves, so I gave it a go. The aroma has tart green apple. It's sweet with a Granny Smith apple taste. It goes down easily, as expected for a 70 proof spirit. I'm sipping it neat, as usual, and will try it with some ginger ale next time.

About this bottle
Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple marks the first line extension for the Irish whiskey brand co-founded by MMA Champion Conor McGregor. Similar to the original whiskey, which debuted in 2018, this apple-flavored variant is a blend of triple-distilled Irish grain whiskey and single malts that matured for four years in ex-bourbon barrels. It has been available since February 2023 at a suggested retail price of $24.99 per 750ml bottle.

Light and crisp, yet after a short while, the taste becomes tiresome. It's labeled as natural flavoring, but I detect a hint of artificiality. It's acceptable, though not something I'd crave...
Prominent apple flavor, but generally quite mild. It's not bad.
It's like Crown Apple mixed with Jameson! Delicious.
So much artificial green apple flavor.
Granny Smith apples all the way....
