A very pleasant dram with notes of toasted vanilla, tropical fruits such as banana, mango, passion fruit, and coconut, caramel, sandalwood, chocolate, peach, cherry, and spices. It's a bit rough initially but mellows with time. It evokes a resemblance to an Asian Barry Crockett.
I absolutely love this. The bold, full flavor profile is fantastic, with a wonderful combination of bourbon and Japanese whisky characteristics. I'm a huge fan. If only I could find a bottle to purchase...
Overpoweringly smoky. Disgusting. Sampled the 2020 version.
