This sake-based strawberry fruit liqueur from Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, is made with rice, koji, and strawberries, and is bottled at 12.5% ABV by Homare Brewing Company. It begins aromatically with berry and subtle rice/koji notes. A creamy middle section offers strawberry and honey flavors, leading to a brief and invigorating end. Sampled July 2024.
