The aroma offered floral and vanilla notes. The initial taste brought woody, oak, and leather flavors, concluding with a peppery finish. The warmth was present and sustained nicely. The lingering sensation wasn't very long; I wished it would persist more, but it remained consistent with a good bourbon. Adding ice reduced the warmth but amplified the leather, char, and revealed a subtle oak finish. Not bad for a distillery that has only been open for over 7 years.

Aroma - corn, citrus, tree sap. Taste - orange peel, barrel tannins, more green tree sap. Finish - a touch of bitterness that dissipates quickly, leaving a notable lingering heat.
Not particularly spicy. Oak and char are present initially, but it concludes with smooth floral and woody notes.
Smooth with excellent flavors and good harmony. The genuine definition of small batch
Glad to try the local spirit. It was unremarkable, however.
Very simple to drink, smooth, with a touch of spice in the middle.
