Appearance: The color in my glass is honey or straw yellow. After swirling, the legs are medium in thickness and descend slowly. Nose: A light smoke note begins, quickly followed by a honeyed floral sweetness. Caramel and earthy moss combine with the honey and smoke, like an unlikely couple who find they're meant to be. Taste: Vanilla and red apple lead the palate, with hints of ripe peach, whole grain toast, and cherries. Finish: The finish is fairly long after an initial bite during the swallow, ending with 'subdued smoke and late peat,' as described by the brand's website. Thoughts: My conclusion is that for what appears to be a lower-shelf selection, this is a very good value. It's affordable, the packaging is well-designed and doesn't suggest a bottom-shelf product, and it's likely approachable for most palates. While better-tasting options exist, this is still good! Thanks for the sample! Sláinte!

Apricot gold color, with some peat and oak. It's clean and straightforward. H20: weak and clean. Palate: medium body, simple, watery, and smooth. Note: The packaging I received differs from the one shown. I've bought several 750ml bottles at $9.99 each.
Apricot hue, light peat, aged oak, uncomplicated, clear With water: clear, delicate, slight leather With H20: clear, light peat, light wood? With P: smooth, light peat-salt air And yes, it cost $9.99.
Apricot color, faint woody notes, slight peat Palate: smooth, clean, simple With water: opens up, more peat Palate: smooth, clean, light, soft, lingers A good value for $10
The aroma is decent, the palate is harsh, and the conclusion is potent.
