Elton Luu 3.0

Visual: Faintly golden straw. Smell: Delicate, with hints of vanilla and a whisper of sweetness. Taste: Mellow and accessible, with minimal bitterness or sharpness. A pronounced vanilla note, accompanied by a sweetness like basic sugar syrup. Texture: Light, straightforward, yet easy to drink. Possesses just enough of a "Scotch" essence to hint at its origin. Aftertaste: Brief, crisp, leaving a subtle sweet impression. General: Not exceptional, but for the cost, it delivers well. A wallet-friendly everyday choice – unpretentious, sweet, and dependable. ★★½ to ★★★ --- A Rhyme for Highland Mist by A fellow drinker Golden liquid, gently poured, Vanilla scents, nothing ignored. No harshness, no complexity, just plain, Sweetness softly does remain. No story of smoke or intense might, But consistent, smooth, and right. For times when value must be found, It suggests gently: drink, and be sound.

Appearance: The color of this blended scotch was light gold, like clover honey. Nose: The aroma offered more than I anticipated! Notes of honey, light peat and smoke, ripe fruit like peaches and banana Laffy Taffy, along with pine, all had a floral undertone. Taste: The palate was very thin with limited presence. The flavors I detected were good, though – salty brine, pear, diluted honey syrup, and cinnamon-covered apples. Finish: There was an initial bite after swallowing. The finish was medium in length, fading into a honey aftertaste. Thoughts: I was impressed for a bottom-shelf option. Based on the labeling, I expected much lower quality, but this isn't terrible! While better options certainly exist, I would recommend this for a cheap scotch! Well done and thanks, friends! Cheers!

Highland Mist presents a light golden hue with pristine clarity and expected ethanol trails. Its scent offers moderate, soil-like smokiness alongside grain alcohol notes. The palate reveals hints of beeswax, peat, and cereal grains, with a light to medium body. Highland Mist concludes with a fairly swift finish.

An excellent affordable basic whisky with a pear-drop aroma, a little spice, mild smoke, and slight alcohol burn. It wouldn't be my choice for a bar, but it's just right for enjoying with a cigar or before dinner.

If you enjoy blended Scotch drinks, this is one of the most economical options you'll find. It's not for sipping, but it's a suitable mixer for a very tight cocktail budget.

Subtle. Aromas of lemon verbena with a damp ending.
