Hendrick's Amazonia

Purchased this at the duty-free in Orlando. Smell: Pineapple, mango, soursop, a bit of acetone. Taste: Tropical fruits, pandan leaf, some flavors I can't quite identify. Finish: Quite long, with the familiar Hendricks profile. Juniper, cucumber, and floral hints. This is so unusual and odd, it's barely recognizable as gin. It will make some wild cocktails. However, it's going to take me a while to finish this liter.

Initially very strong and harsh, it mellowed with time, revealing sweetness. When mixed with ginger ale, it had a distinct pineapple flavor and a slightly spicy aftertaste.

Fruity. It makes a very floral Gin Rickey.

Smooth, with floral notes and a hint of sweetness.

Slightly fruity, excellent for mixing.
