Hendrick's OASIUM, the sixth offering in the Cabinet of Curiosities line, was developed by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie. Inspired by a desert oasis visit, she infused OASIUM with a combination of refreshing herbs and bright fruits, using Hendrick's Gin as the foundation. This gin offers a cooling sensation, quite unlike the typical Hendrick's gin. I detect a grapefruit flavor, and you could potentially swap it for pamplemousse liqueur in drinks such as The Monarch from Food & Wine.
It has grapefruit, but not excessively so. There are also many herbal notes. This is a solid addition to the collection of unique items.
The aroma is full of vibrant citrus and floral notes with a touch of herbs. On the palate, it's smooth and rich, showcasing plenty of citrus without being overly sugary. The finish is pleasing and herbal.
