Bottle #336/3797 I'm drawn to anything aged in Mizunara, but regardless, this is excellent whisky. Very smooth considering it's 55.75% ABV. The Mizunara influence is undeniable in this bottle. In my experience, most Canadian whiskies have very subtle flavors, which pairs perfectly with Japanese oak. I will admit that at $500, it is quite pricey. The bottle itself is gorgeous, and the packaging enhances the overall value.

Nearly orange in color. Vanilla, candy corn, and caramel on the nose. Full bodied, viscous, and oily mouthfeel. Tastes of banana and orange. The finish has hints of burnt orange peel. This is the best whisky in my collection. Thanks to my wonderful wife of 33 years.

Floral with orange cream, light sandalwood, caramel cream, tangerine, and rosewood butterscotch, followed by a long floral finish. Very light on the palate with no burn. Moves gracefully on the tongue with effortless perfection. Rich mouthfeel.

Amazingly bright whiskey given its age. The mizunara oak finish provides hints of chocolate and incense. Opens with 2 drops of water to reveal an exquisite whiskey.

Bottle 3106 of 3797. The nose has hints of honey-roasted almonds and toffee. The taste is rich and buttery, with layers of dried fruit and vanilla. Exceptionally smooth and luxurious.
