The aroma is sweet and brightly fruity, with notes of apples, pears, and apricots, and underlying hints of baking spice. The palate has fruit jam and caramel, with a contrasting spice that emerges from beneath; both eventually meld together smoothly. The finish has spice, fruit, and eventually a sweet bread character. It's good, but would be improved at cask strength.
