This is from the Experimental Series; Release #2. Its time spent in a previously used Imperial Stout Barrel makes this bourbon stand out. The chocolate notes are definitely present but not excessive. I will sip this one now and then and save it for myself. If you ever get the opportunity (unlikely), I absolutely suggest it for its distinctiveness.

Quite enjoyable for a lower proof bourbon. Despite its light color, it drinks stronger than indicated, with spice and pepper on the finish. The nose has a distinct caramel apple aroma. It feels a bit thin, possibly indicating youth, but it's very pleasing for a lighter spirit. The price is a little high, and I'd prefer to see it decrease.
Excellent bourbon from a fantastic nearby producer! Good complexity with subtle notes of vanilla, caramel, and clove.
