Devin Myles 2.8

The aroma is mild, with a touch of peat over sweet grain notes. The taste is very sweet initially, with a mellow, soft body and a slight warmth at the end, very slight indeed. Overall, the taste is quite bland, lacking complexity or anything to explore. It's like a very entry-level scotch with training wheels to keep your initial sips steady. I'll eventually try mixing it, but I suspect it will underperform, as there's nothing to elevate it, and diluting it will only make it more bland. This makes the bottle suitable for casual parties where the focus is on the company, not the whisky, but you still want a general whisky taste in your mouth.

Lakeisha Santana 3.0

A starter scotch. Subtle taste. Lacks depth. Warm finish. I was okay with it since I don't particularly favor peat.

Joseph Mackey 3.3

A light, oak-kissed spirit with bright fruit notes. An easy-drinking blend.
