Personally, I'm just someone who sometimes appreciates straightforward, unpretentious, intriguing sipping spirits. It's quite unusual to find a vodka that's actually enjoyable for sipping. There's no harsh alcohol burn here, just a light floral hint that you try to identify as you drink it. I like it a lot. It's not flawless, but it definitely deserves a regular place in my collection, especially considering its eco-friendly background, which is also quite appealing. Separately, it's interesting to observe the coordinated downvoting this past spring... it's quite odd that so many brief, uninspired reviews from new accounts are so negative towards something as neutral as a sipping vodka. Honestly, that observation might make for a better review: try this bottle to understand why someone else is so bothered by a neutral spirit.

About this bottle
Tristan Willey, a former NYC bartender, and Mark Byrne founded Good Liquorworks, launching this vodka in the fall of 2020. The spirit is crafted from coffee fruit that would otherwise be discarded. Finger Lakes Distilling in upstate New York handles the distillation, and each bottle indicates the origin and harvest date of the coffee fruit. This sustainable spirit prevents nearly 16 kg of CO2 emissions per bottle, comparable to a gas-powered car traveling 40 miles.

We have reached a point in the world of spirits where we can expect more from our beverages than just the bare minimum. Excited to add a vodka to the collection that is carbon negative and thoughtfully produced! We need more spirits following this approach. A velvety texture with notes of pepper and vanilla. Enjoyed it ice cold as a sipper, and later in an espresso martini.
While vodkas are intended to be neutral, most still possess subtle differences. In my repeated tastings with fellow enthusiasts, I found the Good vodka to be neither enjoyable to sip nor particularly suitable as a base for mixers. My preferred vodkas recently have been Bainbridge or Hanson.
This vodka is exceptional—full of organic character and a rich mouthfeel. It's not neutral or bland, if that's your preference...but it's delicious! It's good enough to drink straight or to create a unique cocktail.
This vodka lives up to its moniker. It fits perfectly in a martini or a Moscow mule. The interesting backstory is a bonus.
Finally, a vodka with some personality. You can detect the peppery notes of coffee fruit; it's the best vodka for drinking straight.
