This bourbon, a single barrel selection from Glenns Creek Distilling, originates from a high-rye mash bill comprising 74% corn, 21% rye, and 5% barley. It matures in new, charred American oak before a finishing period with toasted staves. The proof varies with each bottling.

It's so dark it resembles aged rum. The palate features oak, leather, and a hint of sweetness. The alcohol is noticeable but not so intense that it's undrinkable. This is an interesting one – not complex, not terrible, but it's missing something. It just seems to fall apart somewhat on the finish.
A very potent bourbon with significant oak notes. Some smooth undertones help balance the extra rye and barrel-strength alcohol. Adding a bit of water or melting ice makes it easier to sip.
The higher rye content is noticeable, with heat and vanilla, finishing with caramel.
