About this bottle

The second release in the Bond House No. 1 Vintage Collection, Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1989, was crafted by Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's director of whisky creation, distilling & whisky stocks. This bottling marks the distillery's inaugural use of wine barrels from the Côte Rôtie AOC in the Northern Rhône wine region, which permits up to 20% viognier grapes to be fermented with syrah. The blend also includes whisky aged in former oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
