While I don't typically comment on color, this one is remarkably dark. Aroma is Deep: Dark fruits, dark chocolate, manuka honey, tobacco, roasted nuts, some herbal notes, and graham cracker. Taste: Slightly silky and full, though not as intensely dark as the aroma suggests. Flavors of dark fruits, roasted nuts, tobacco, mocha, brown sugar, caramel, a hint of citrus, and honey. Finish: Long and spicy, with notes of raisins, nuts, light tobacco, and honey.

A note on Glendronach inspired by the dark. From a Pedro Ximénez cask. 50.8% ABV. Flavors of wine, almond, and cocoa. Tastes like a Blackberry chocolate Toblerone, almost too refined! Also blueberry. Perfect spice balance.
