This is meant for mixing. That's all there is to it. What little I can describe is this: there are hints of honey, pear, and oak that intertwine. The finish has a touch of mint and oak, but very little. A sweetness is present throughout, yet the flavor remains minimal. You won't be missing anything if you passed on this bottle.

Pleasant high vanilla notes with an oaky undertone. The finish is smooth, slightly more spirited than anticipated, but overall a good experience neat. The bottle itself is visually appealing and feels good.
Tastes much like another single barrel whiskey. A little spice but no heat. One of my favorites and reasonably priced. Absolutely worth sampling
Flavorful; not quite as full-bodied or smooth as Jefferson’s Reserve, but still enjoyable
Notes of wood, vanilla, and cherry.
