Nose: This aroma is quite complex. I had anticipated something akin to MWND, but this is brighter. I'm struggling to do it justice and suspect it will change as it airs, but here goes: Berries, vanilla, subtle rye, and baking spices. Truly pleasant! Palate: There's a lot happening here as well. One could spend hours with just an ounce of this. It would be enjoyable to taste with others and discuss as the pour progresses. The port influence is present, but subtle. It feels as though each whiskey in the blend takes a turn, not always in the same sequence. Definitely on the brighter side. Not excessively sweet, very oily. The mouthfeel is among the best I've experienced. I'd describe it as bright, complex, and port-adjacent. Finish: On the longer side. Take a sip and wait a minute after swallowing to observe its evolution. Overall: This is exceptionally well-crafted. Definitely worth seeking out if you enjoy finished ryes or bouryes. I'm eager to see their future developments!
