Aromas of butterscotch, syrup, anise, and alcohol are present. The taste brings corn sweetness, apple, butterscotch, and rye spice. The finish is dominated by red fruit from the port, significant oak, and dark chocolate. It has a thick, syrupy texture, with the port and oak combination making the finish exceptional. 7 out of 10
Caramel, baking spices, and tropical fruits like guava, papaya, and melon. It's complex with a thick mouthfeel and a moderately long finish.
The aroma wasn't particularly memorable; the taste featured red fruits and berries, but there was a significant amount of ethanol.
