About this bottle

Evolution was introduced to the market in 2014 as John Hall's eighth special release. This whisky is a combination of three-year-old corn, barley, and rye whiskies that were subsequently re-distilled. It then underwent an additional nine years of aging in French oak cabernet sauvignon wine casks. Further whisky cask blends were incorporated for balance. The name reflects John Hall's personal development as a whisky maker and the progression of his creations.
