Flóki Single Malt

Glass: Glencairn, let to rest for 15 minutes. Color: Pale yellow. Nose: The aroma is of freshly cut grass, with some floral and fruity undertones. Palate: Flavors of baking spices, along with floral and cereal notes. Finish: It has a medium duration and a medium level of heat. Splash: No new aromas emerge. General impression: 5/10 - Judging by the color and scent, I anticipated being unimpressed. The taste is characteristic of young Irish whiskey, and not as bad as I had foreseen. It's not my preferred choice, but it's fairly average. At least it's not undrinkable.

A dram lacking complexity – proof that not everything is destined for greatness. However, it's appreciated, and even the simple flavor of mowed lawn speaks to the bounty of nature.

Clear straw body with medium legs. A strong aroma of wood, earth, and tobacco. The flavor is earthy, woody, with notes of caramel and nuts. Light body with a strong warming sensation. 6/3/7/3/12 3.1

Nose: like plastic, young malt Palate: tastes like grass, light citrus Finish: light, grainy, lingers on the tongue Quite peculiar. It has a pleasant viscosity but would benefit greatly from more barrel aging.

It's bright and young. I suspect the Icelandic climate hasn't significantly impacted the barrels. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable sipper. Prominent notes of honey, nuts, and grass.

Pronounced bread flavors with a hint of bitterness and honey. I'm uncertain about my feelings towards it. It grows on you, but I wouldn't seek it out again.
