A promising start, with considerable potential, but it falls short in many aspects. The nose is pleasantly fruity, and the palate is soft, but the finish is very long and spicy with minimal aftertaste. I'm eager to see a mature release aged 10+ years in a cask.
Not bad at all, quite malty (after three pints!) but with a sharp aftertaste. Adding water doesn't change the pleasant flavor, but it would be better if aged.
Perhaps a bit floral and a little smoky.
