Fifth State Barrel Strength Corn Whiskey

I'm really enjoying this. Full disclosure, it was distilled very near the fields where I used to play little league. It's very easy to sip neat. The aroma brings raisins and a woodsy character. There's a mild, pleasant burn. The mouthfeel is creamy. I'll definitely buy their maple version this fall.

Nose of dusty corn and molasses. Corn continues with abundant oak and stone fruit sweetness. Finishes with a solid comfort.
